One Thoresby Street provides affordable studio space, a support network and shared resources to emerging, early career, and established contemporary artists.
There are two types of studio membership -
Associate Studio Membership (£30pcm) -
Associate Membership allows you 24 hour access to the building, access to all shared resources, access to the shared office and all member advantages listed below. Associate members are not allowed to use any of the shared space for storage or 'studio' unless agreed otherwise by the group. Associate membership is designed for curators, producers or practitioners who don't have a physical practice but require office space and access to a wider artist network.
Full Studio Membership with Studio Space (£70pcm) -
Full Studio membership provides you with your own private studio space with 24 hour access to the building with all of the member advantages listed below. Full membership is designed for practitioners who require a private studio space within a wider artist community.
Full studio membership can also be taken on by artist groups of collectives working collaboratively. The costs for group membership are variable dependent on the number of member key-holders within the group and the amount of space you require. Please contact us directly for further details.

- Access to any member only opportunities generated by the group including exhibitions and events.

One Thoresby Street operate a rolling application process. You can apply to join One Thoresby Street at any time by submitting an online application form
Alternatively you can email john@onethoresbystreet.org with a brief statement about you work, why you wish to join One Thoresby Street and what you could bring to the community along with a few images of your work in a PDF and links to relevant website(s).
Applications will be reviewed by studio members and applicants will be notified within two weeks of receipt of their application. If the studios are full at the time of your application we will inform you and will keep you on a waiting list and contact you as space becomes available.
