OD alludes to On Demand TV and to an overdose of information created via constant additions to mass media content.
As a response to the Universal Addressability of Dumb Things, a curated show by Mark Leckey at Nottingham Contemporary, OD attempts to explore an existential experience formed between altered states of reality, by using the screen as a tool for the production of meaning.
Nine artists have been invited to exhibit one video work for one day only.
Each artists work will be open to the public 12pm – 6pm.
There will be a soft launch for each new work between 6pm – 8pm.
